One of our favorite events!
Each year Erik Johnson, a third generation silhouette artist, visits the Happy Up stores and creates little works of art.
Using nothing but his keen eye and some deadly sharp scissors, Erik hand cuts silhouettes. It's a vanishing art form and creates a truly unique portrait of your child. One of his greatest talents is capturing the small details that set your little one apart. Delicate eyelashes, adorable curls, and those chubby cheeks are showcased in each portrait. The most amazing thing? It takes him about five minutes to complete each likeness.
Cost: $30 for each original portrait.
Additional copies are $15 each.
Frames will also be available for purchase.
