Sales Associate duties include:

• Greeting customers and helping them find items in the store
• Shopping with the customer, making recommendations, and demonstrating or describing your recommendation (aka hand selling)
• Answering customer questions and maintaining a welcoming and friendly space
• Wrapping gifts
• Ringing up purchases
• Restocking shelves and tidying sections
• Cleaning as needed

We're looking for people who:

• Have excellent communication skills. You must be able to interact with the children in our stores as well as their grown-ups.
• Are able to spend your entire shift on your feet and moving around. This is a very active job.
• Have social media savvy to help keep our accounts active and fun!
• Are comfortable learning our computer system and entering data
• Are upbeat, confident, and enthusiastic
• Are curious and eager to learn about our toys and games
• Are self-motivated

Additional skills we'd really like you to have, but aren't required:

• Experience with merchandising and creating displays.
• Experience with young children and early childhood education
• Experience in a customer-focused small business
